How to Properly Measure Your Head for Your Wig

HAIR TIPS CARE TIPS

It is very important to take good care of your hair extensions for expanding its life expectancy and beauty.

Co-Washing/Shampooing: Upon receipt of hair co-washing before install is highly recommended (WASH WITH CONDITIONER ONLY, NO SHAMPOO) thoroughly in a downward motion with rubber band still on hair in the bundle. Then allow hair to air dry. When shampooing (SULFATE FREE PRODUCT) follow the same steps as you would when co-washing, but without the rubber band. Hair should be shampooed every 3-4 weeks depending on use of hair.

Drying Hair and Heat: For better results and to sustain the lifetime of the hair, we recommend letting the hair air dry. If the hair is still in the bundle, you can place it under a hair dryer on medium cool heat. If you want to control frizz, spray with frizz control products and use a small amount of oil. Too much heat on virgin hair is not good, this will cause the hair to break. 

Shedding: Like natural hair shedding is normal & minimal. The initial shedding can be a little more than minimal, but will decrease with time. We recommend sealing of wefts after two or more installs.

Styling: If you choose to style your hair without using roller rods or Flexi rods, heat protectant is your best friend. Before styling or drying your hair with any type of heat, make sure you apply heat protectant.

Note: Make sure all styling tools are ceramic. Also, do not use products that will weigh down the hair. Use oil free or light oil products. Be sure to check all products used are alcohol free, for alcohol removes the natural moisture from hair.

Can I color my custom unit? 

Yes, all of Sone Love Extentions is 100% virgin human hair. Our VIP Collection can be lifted to the lightest blonde; our Premium Collection can be lifted to a low level blonde.

If my hair is long and thick, will I be able to wear a custom unit?

Yes, as long as your hair is braided in small braids making it flat as possible. It's also a good idea to get your unit constructed 1 size bigger if you’re unsure.

Can I part my custom unit anywhere?

Yes, as long as it’s located within the perimeter of the lace.

Are the custom units pre-plucked?

Yes, we pre-pluck all our units for a more natural look.

How long does the custom unit last?

Your unit could last up to 5+ years with the proper care and maintenance.

How do I attach my custom unit? 

Units can be attached with the adjustable elastic band that is placed in each unit along with any holding spray of your choice, thread, wig combs or lace glue.

How do we make our custom units?

All Sone Love Extentions units are hand-sewn onto a breathable spandex mesh dome cap.

 How to measure your head for a custom unit?

Will the lace damage my hairline? 

No, the lace itself does not damage your hairline, but incorrect installation and takedown of the lace can be damaging. Consult with a licensed cosmetologist for installation if any adhesives will be used.

 Does the knots come bleached on your custom unit?

Yes. All lace located on your frontal/closure are lifted for a natural (scalp like) look.

How do I store my custom unit when not being worn?

We recommend purchasing a mannequin foam head or place in satin wig bag.

How to detangle my custom unit?

Always use a wide tooth comb and/or detangling brush starting from the end to roots.

How to shampoo my custom unit?

Fully saturate unit with luke warm water using sulfate-free shampoo, rub hair in a downward motion; never rubbing unit in a circular motion. 

Apply conditioner, allow it sit for 30-45 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cool water then let hang to air dry or place under a stand alone hair dryer.

Can my unit be sent in for a reconstruction or a touch up?

Yes, please refer to the unit revamp tab.

Do we offer expedited services?

Unfortunately, no. Due to our units being hand stitched.

Can unit be remade if the customer provided the incorrect measurements?

Yes, customer will be responsible for all shipping fees and an additional $100 reconstruction fee will be required.

Can I send in my own hair for a custom or revamp unit?

Unfortunately, no. We only work with hair that has been purchased from Sone Love Extentions.

Does shipping address have to match billing address at checkout?

Yes. To avoid any fraudulent activities.

Once your order is placed you will receive an order confirmation/receipt via email address provided at checkout. Tracking number will be sent when merchandise is in route for delivery. To avoid lost/stolen package(s) please feel free to track  at USPS.COM. All items are delivered "USPS PRIORITY MAIL" (domestic). We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or undelivered package(s). For carrier delays due to inclement weather, holidays, natural disasters, etc. we are not responsible. Insurance is available upon request from the customer.

Everything goes through a vigorous process to ensure you are getting the best quality product possible. All hair orders are thoroughly inspected before shipment. Our main objective is to ensure that you are completely satisfied. 

We currently do not accept returns or exchanges on our merchandise. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

DISCLAIMERS

COLOR

Our products are not processed or colored, it is 100% virgin hair, therefore we cannot guarantee that all bundles will have the same color. Typically our virgin hair comes in natural shades of off black, dark brown, and medium brown (#1B, #2, & #4). We do try our best to pair bundles with similar color shades, however, it is not guaranteed you will receive the exact color in bundles being that hair is taken from multiple donors. Our hair is able to withstand coloring, we recommend consulting a professional stylist should you consider coloring.

TEXTURE

Due to distinct nature of human hair, two heads of hair are never exactly the same. All photos provided on our website will give you an idea of how textures will look. However, we cannot guarantee curl/wave pattern will remain after shampooing and/or co-washing due to wavy and curl patterns are processed for texture.

QUALITY

We test each bundle for quality prior to distribution. However we cannot guarantee that bundles will not shed, tangle, or become dry. Some bundles may require additional maintenance than others while others don't. Please see hair care tips for information on maintenance. These tips are recommended to help you maintain our hair for a specified lifetime.
